"Continuous learning in Engineering and Industrial Technologies Education"

ISIE2014 - The 23rd IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics
will be held in Istanbul, TURKEY (1-4 June 2014)

Motivation and Topics:
Nowadays an engineer’s knowledge quickly becomes obsolete. For some areas of
expertise it becomes obsolete less time than it takes to get an
undergraduate degree. Technology is entering headlong into the future in a
rhythm that takes one breath away. Electronics, personal computers, the
Internet, advanced materials, are deeply changing the world as we know it
and, in most cases, for the better.
This Special Session is launched with the aim to joint researchers to
discuss subjects related with Continuous learning in Engineering and
Industrial Technologies Education; in the next topics (not limited to):
-        Curricula/course development for continuous learning
-        Remote, Virtual and On-site laboratories
-        Distance learning
-        Entrepreneurship programs
-        Innovative uses of technology
-        Learning models

DEADLINES:
Final date for submitting papers to the special session: JANUARY 15, 2014
Notification of acceptance (as regular papers): March 1, 2014
Submission of final papers: April 7, 2014

Submission:
The submission procedure will be the same as ISIE2014 paper submission
(http://www.isie.boun.edu.tr/pagepaps.asp).
